Profile Information

Career:
Lecturer of Social Work at MIT , New Zealand
What my interest in emotional education is:
Wanting to develop a curriculum programme, in conjunction with elders of Ngatiawa tribe for our Ngatiawa boys in their "coming of age". I am particularly interested in exploring the traditional tribal values and the roles of our men and discussing these values in sustaining a positive tribal identity , as a man in todays eurocentrically dominated society .
Where I am from:
The Centre of the Universe in Te Teko, New Zealand.

I have been considering what and how to respond to your story -remember Putauaki.I will do so today. Those kuia of ours are pretty on to it eh and always have a way of reminding us about ourselves??
Graham is hopefully keen to support Norma;s quest to undertake her Phd here In Aotearoa.
Lee and I went to a fabulous community dinner on my last night and he dropped me to the airport early Friday morning. He is coming back to run a four day Symposium in the last week of January so put that in your diary 28 January to Friday 1 February.Probably three to four days working on emotional curriculum so put it in your diary -you may need to speak at that hui.
Let me know when you want to get together and I'll come to you ne?
Regards to Tania,

Donna
