Hi everyone, its Monday morning, November 19 and I watched an old movie on the weekend; Enter the Dragon, Bruce Lee said an interesting thing during the movie. He said, "Emotions can be your enemy". In researching the comment this morning I found an interesting quote attributed to Bruce:

Emotions are your enemy. When you get into emotion you lose your mind" When you lose your mind you lose your focus, when you lose your focus you lose you ability to perform at your peak

This comment raised the question: How do we focus our emotions so that they contribute to the achievement of our learning goals.

Nga mihi aroha kia koe Todd. That means fond greetings to you Todd.
I am still buzzing about the conference and the sharing that we all did while in Burnaby and at UBC.I am already talking with our people about next years conference and how they might soon be able to log in and register through the NING Facility.
It was so good that you were able to set up this online communication network and I am in the process of linking more of our people into it.
I'll stay in touch and hope you are having a great time exploring the limitless potential out there!!

Kia ora Todd and greetings from Aotearoa New Zealand.I am slowly finding my way around on NING and arrived home just this morning from Vancouver.I have filled out my profile again as my first attempt was pretty shoddy- I tried to do it while in Transit at Los Angeles Airport.
Thank you for creating this oppportunity for our global network to continue to talk, share, laugh and work together. See you again soon,
Donna
